HAWT: Taylor Swift in Gucci

This year’s Grammy Award’s saw 22 year old singer/songwriter Taylor Swift, once again glittering on the red carpet, a look she has perfected and I am certainly not bored of.  Despite missing out on the four awards she was nominated for, Taylor’s sensational short-sleeved column Gucci dress certainly secured the singer the ‘Best Dressed’ accolade of the night.  Renown for her penchant for metallic and sparkles on the red carpet, Taylor’s gorgeous gown, accessorized with silver drop earrings and platform heels, was utterly showstopping, proving to us all; ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.'  Taylor told E!'s Ryan Seacrestthat she loved the design, "it's like chain mail, ‘it's bullet proof. It's really heavy. It's all the things you'd expect it to be - it's like a suit of armour."  Country Strong.

Below:  America's Golden Girl Taylor Swift in a red carpet myriad of masterful metallics...

And moving swiftly (sorry, couldn't help myself...) from HAWT to, well just damn right HOT… Did you catch power couple Beyoncé (in a sheer Nichole de Carle body suit and La Perlathong) and Jay Z's steeeeeamy PDA/rendition of ‘Drunk in Love’…

HAWT: Daisy Lowe in Miu Miu

The second I saw Daisy Lowe dressed as Jessica Rabbit (think long red latex!) at a mutual friend’s ‘OTT’ party on Osea Island, she became an instant girl crush.
This was once more confirmed when I saw pictures of the twenty-four year old English model attending theBritish Heart Foundation’s ‘Tunnel of Love’ themed fundraiser in London (left)wearing this diiiivine Miu Miu A/W’13 party dress.
The shocking pink and red strapless bustier frock with a foldover sweetheart neckline was accessorized demurely with black peep-toe heels, a black satin Pradaenvelope clutch with red lipstick and a retro up-do, allowing this showstopper dress do the talking.
HAWT!

HAWT: Jessica Alba in Ralph Lauren

Jessica Alba looked utterly chic whilst en route to the Ralph Lauren SS14 during  New York Fashion Week.  Wearing a long baby-pink Ralph Lauren chiffon ballet skirt paired with a simple black cropped jumper, accessorised with a patent black bag and a classic chignon hairstyle, the actress looked part Audrey Hepburn, part Carrie Bradshaw – the perfect combination of elegant and quirky cute.  So hawt.

HAWT: Diane Kruger in Valentino

Diane Kruger, rarely off the Best Dressed lists, once again looked remarkable in this beautiful pink embellished Valentino SS’14 gown last weekend at the 2013 Venice Film Festival… Then again, how can she ever put a style step wrong with her favourite of evening accessories; the timeless and classic arm-candy that is Joshua Jackson.

HAWT: Olivia Palermo in 7 For All Mankind

Even when hitting the streets of NYC, smoothie in hand, Olivia Palermo’s off duty, casual double denim outfit still managed to look as beautifully polished and glossy as the lady herself.  Wearing a vintage look, loose fitting 7 For All Mankind denim shirt, skinny jeans, neon camouflage flats by Pretty Loafers and so ‘of-the-moment’ festival friendly reflective-lens sunglasses, Olivia (and her permanently perfect red nails) looked HAWT!

HAWT: Alexa Chung in Chanel

Ooh La Lexa… This week Alexa Chung left a muddy Glastonbury for a beautiful Paris to attend the Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter’13 show at the Grand Palais.  The presenter/DJ looked très chic in a midnight blue velvet mini-dress with black lace Victoriana style high neckline and delicate sleeves.   Black and navy is my favourite colour combination, one Alexa regularly wears on the front row, this time completing her stylish look with a small classic Chanelshoulder bag and a pair of triple buckled black Mary-Janes (which would look hideously unflattering and terribly un-HAWT on anyone else aside from Alexa!)

HAWT: Sienna Miller in Burberry

Actress Sienna Miller looked HAWT last week at the opening night of the new Broadway play ‘Orphans’ (starring her beau Tom Sturridge).  The yummy mummy wore a classic belted Burberry trench coat whilst wearing her heart on her sleeve with the Burberry Prorsum Heart Print Calfskin Drawcord Bag as she posed for photographers in NYC.  The outfit subsequently caused speculation that the gorgeous couple have been hired as the British brand’s A/W’13 faces… I would heart that.

Olivia Palermo arrived at the Christian Dior A/W'13 Ready-to-Wear show during last week's Paris Fashion Week wearing these incredible heels from Dior's Spring 2013 collection.  The black leather slingbacks featured a mirrored purple cuff.

Shoe envy factor? High.

Looking as gorgeously stylish as ever, Olivia (left) paired her shoes with a striped sleeveless Dior dress, also from their SS'13 collction, and the Felder Felder Nashville fur-trimmed wool coat.  Olivia's burgundy bag was also, of course, by Dior.  Aside from the unfortunate use of fur on her coat, Olivia's look is as flawless and perfectly polished as ever.

During London Fashion Week fashionista Alexa Chung nailed the ‘Winter White’ trend at theJ.W.Anderson A/W 2013 show by teaming a latex J.W.Anderson for Topshop off-white skirt (not available on line yet) with a cream cable knit sweater.  By adding contrasting black accessories and a pink pout, Alexa created the perfect cosy/chic ensemble.

The 2013 Grammy Award for Best Dressed on the night, without a shadow of a doubt, went to Rhianna! How incredibly glamourous did she look in this beautiful custom-made Azzedine Alaia dress, accessorised with Neil Lane jewelery, Manolo Blahnik heels and a bright red pout? Dazzling and show-stopping. A red HAWT Valentine’s Day tribute.
