Ro Copenhagen: RO Women

Despite being a self professed maximalist (let’s face it, this chic pad ain’t my home, is it?!) when it comes to jewellery, I’m about as Scandi as they come; I prefer clean lines, simple designs and delicate finishes... Discreet pieces I can can stack together for additional impact when, or if, necessary.

The everyday pieces I wear and love the most almost always hold great significance (like Harry Potter’esq portkeys to beautiful moments and memories I treasure) and I loved discovering that Ro Copenhagen, a Danish brand that is both gentle and strong, was all these things, and sparklingly more!

I loved being part of this ‘Ro Women’ campaign, alongside a few (both gentle and strong) women I truly adore, and being photographed by my friend Candice Lake (who impressively managed to keep a *mostly straight face whilst I shimmied across the bench singing the Frozen repertoire in my (K)elsa dress...

#MySaboStyle at the AW'15 London Fashion Week

Knowing how much the jewellers Thomas Sabo love fashion, and so seamlessly always embrace the current and developing trends, it I was thrilled to wear my favourite pieces at the AW’15 London Fashion Week.  With so much variety, from the playful to the elegant, the rockstar to the romantic, there was a collection to suit everyone’s different tastes and express their personalities.

I am particularly into stack rings at the moment and was in heaven trying on all the different combinations available.  Men’s watches are also something that I love to wear and their rose gold ‘Rebel At Heart’ time piece (RRP. £250.00) was my first, almost immediate, choice, which coupled with two, dark 'Glam & Soul' black eternity rings (£159.00 and £275.00) made the perfect statement.  The rose gold 'Glam & Soul' eternity ring (£89.00) was so delicate and perfect for my everyday wear.  Seldom understated, all the jewellery I tried was really striking and unique and so very, very Instagram worthy (which lets face it, is now of vast importance when picking fashion week attire!) Thank you Thomas Sabo for #MySaboStyle

Monica Vinader's Online Ring Stacker

I was so unbelievably excited to try out Monica Vinader’s new online ring stacking service (HERE) this week. Like a grown up pick’n’mix, customers can virtually load up their favourite rings, all designed to compliment each other, eventually designing one unique, interchangeable, piece.  Oh maaan… yet another tough day at the office!! (#ILoveMyJob)

“The ring stacking tool really builds on our ‘Make it Your Own’ concept,”  said Monica Vinader“I am committed to creating jewellery that people can wear every day and reinvent by wearing the pieces together to showcase their individuality."

I relished in this opportunity to choose from a seemingly endless pool of beautiful gemstone and diamond everyday rings.  Spending the happiest half an hour rearranging and repositioning various sparkly combinations (examples of which are above)  I finally decided on the perfect personalised, bespoke stack from the comfort of my own home – one I can add to as time goes on and mix up depending on the occasion.

The very next day the rings arrived, beautifully packaged in Monica’s signature pink bag and my virtual stack had become a bejeweled reality!

Below:  With mixing my rings around I can create the perfect daytime and nightime stack!

This was a really fun and simple process and the choices were endless.  I definitely recommend this as a Christmas treat (...preferably for yourself!)
Thank you Monica Vinader xxx

Hello There: Kirsten Goss

Since launching her first jewellery collection in London in 2002, South African designer and gemologist Kirsten Goss’ unique designs continue to go from strength to strength.  Despite being an internationally enjoyed brand, with celebrity fans including Sarah Jessica Parker and Rosamund Pike, and a shop in Kensington, Kirsten likes to keep her brand South African at heart with all her designs being created in in her design studio in Durban, saying “I love that we’re on the international stage but keep what we do South African.”

Kirsten Goss’ most recent collection is entitled ‘Arcade,’ (below) and was inspired by the flamboyance of 'The Great Gatsby’ and the opulence of the art deco era. This beautiful range includes elegant earrings, striking cuffs and cut-out necklaces made with semi-precious stones with delicate silver and gold vermeil.
