Beulah London's 'Bag For Love'

Lavina Brennan and Natasha Rufus Isaacs (left), the beautiful designers of the London-based ethical fashion label Beulah London, asked if I (amongst several other London ladies including, Millie Mackintosh, Donna Air, Cressida Bonas, Livia Firth, Princess Eugenie and Katherine Jenkins) to wear their ‘Bag For Love’ totes on Anti-Slavery Day this year.

Available HERE (RRP. £30.00)

As well as being extremely useful, the canvas bags are made by Freeset, a charity in Kolkata, India, dedicated to helping trafficked women by providing them with a steady income, a bank account and a chance to build a new life free from abuse. With approximately 27 million people in slavery today (of which 80% are female and 50% are children) this was a fantastic way to help raise awareness and I was really happy to have taken part in the campaign.

Beulah and French Sole Collaboration

Forget wearing your heart on your sleeve and start wearing them on your toes!  Beulah and French Sole have collaborated to make the loveliest of heart-shaped limited-edition ballet flats to help raise money for the United Nations' Blue Heart Campaign which supports the plight against human trafficking, a cause of great importance to the beauteous Beulah co-founders, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan (above).

The night before I flew home to Kenya for Christmas I went to George on Mount Street in Mayfair, for the launch of these adorable, must-have slippers.  The soft grey flats with navy velvet hearts on their toes have bright blue soles and Beulah print lining.

Available at French Sole (HERE) - RRP. £185.00 (25% goes to the Blue Heart Campaign).

Whilst working at a charity in the Southern slums of Dehli, looking after impoverished girls recently rescued from the sex trade, providing them with safe refuge and the skills and tools they needed to become financially independent, Natasha Rufas Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan were motivated to take action and make a difference to the lives of these victims.
